Let me tell you this is the first options course I have taken where your emails are aswered in a timely fashion and also in detail not just some vague answer. ….. My point I'm trying to make is you seem to care about our understanding of your program and truly want us to succeed. Jus through the skills module yours has been head and shoulders above theirs. Your daily income letter seems to reinforce that you trade what you preach and it a lot more informative than just a (advisory service). Your course seems to leave no stone unturned in learning entries, risk management, defense, and exits. Hi Doc, I just wanted to let you know that you have put together a great course. I just finished the weekly options chapter yesterday. Perfect timing to watch the weekly SPY 144/146 bear call spread move from over .60 near the open to .27 at the close for the .30 profit you outline in your example. I guess that is what you call a text-book trade. I got on the bear call side 151/153 of my Dec condor on just after the open on Fri that looked pretty text-book as well. Hello Doc, I cannot thank you enough for the day to day insights. But today is special. I saw the futures last night before leaving work. I knew what was coming today. Month to Month we sell: the next month Ruts between 30-45 days. Dec RUT 900's they will all expire today max profit. 3 weeks ago we put on ATM calls defensive(your idea) Profited as the trade went above the bollinger envelope. We took profit yesterday, and bought puts ATM. For Dec and Jan they look good today. We have done the same stategy on Jan also. I wish I had the defensive protection on the trade throughout 2012. As you say it so well, "We tend to get out of trades at exactly the wrong time." Your work and Todds work mean more to me each month....Regards, Terry
